Hardwood Natural Live Edge Solid Floating Shelves
Crafted from a single slab of hardwood, each shelf preserves the organic live edge of the tree while showcasing rich grain, knots, and one-of-a-kind wood movement.
Each board is kiln-dried to help reduce moisture and improve long-term stability, then carefully sanded through three stages for a smooth, silky hand feel. The bark is removed, and the natural live edge is shaped and refined by hand to keep its raw organic beauty while making it comfortable to touch. The surface is color-stained to enhance the wood tone, then sealed with a matte protective clear coat for a smooth, low-sheen finish.
Designed with forged steel hidden brackets and pre-drilled mounting holes, this floating shelf offers a clean wall-mounted look with the strength needed for everyday use. Whether styled as a kitchen shelf, coffee bar shelf, liquor display, bathroom storage, or living room accent, it adds warm natural texture without sacrificing function.

Floating Shelf Weight Capacity Details
Weight capacity depends on the shelf length, wall material, bracket type, fasteners, stud placement, installation quality, and how the weight is distributed. The values below are recommended maximum evenly distributed loads under proper installation conditions and are not a guarantee for every wall.
For concrete or masonry walls, use appropriate masonry anchors and fasteners suitable for the wall condition.
For drywall installation, please mounting the shelf brackets directly into wood wall studs whenever possible. Drywall board alone is not intended to support heavy loads, and the actual capacity of drywall anchors can vary significantly by anchor type, wall condition, and installation method.
Our floating shelves are pre-drilled with 16" on-center hole spacing to match common U.S. wood stud spacing. However, stud spacing may vary, including 24" on-center spacing, metal studs, older construction, renovated walls, or non-standard framing. Please locate and verify your studs before installation. If your wall studs do not align with the pre-drilled holes, contact us at presales@woodartdeal.com before installation to discuss possible hole-spacing adjustments.
Recommended Evenly Distributed Load

| 48 - 59.9" | 160 - 200 lbs | 80 - 100 lbs |
| 60 - 69.9" | 200 - 230 lbs | 100 - 115 lbs |
| 70 - 88" | 230 - 300 lbs | 115 - 150 lbs |
Important: These recommendations assume proper installation, suitable wall conditions, compatible fasteners, and evenly distributed static weight. Do not use the shelf for climbing, sitting, hanging body weight, or supporting dynamic loads. When in doubt, consult a qualified installer.
The floating shelves is built using solid wood and finished with a durable protective coating to resist water, scratches, and heat. Each piece is treated with specialized techniques to ensure it stands up to everyday use, so you can enjoy it for years.
1. Keep surfaces dry
To maintain the wood’s finish, wipe up any standing water right away. We use a water-resistant sealant, but moisture shouldn’t sit on the surface for long.
2. Protect from heat
While our finish is heat-resistant, always use coasters or pads to avoid direct contact with hot objects, preserving the integrity of the surface.
3. Use approved cleaners
To protect the finish, avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Stick with mild, non-toxic cleaners to keep your furniture looking its best.
