The material is solid wood, the color matches. There is little smell, only a light wood fragrance. The cabinet surface has beautiful grain, I love it. It matches my walnut bed very well. I need to order another one to put in the living room.

They delivered it to my door and called me before it came. I need to install it myself, and it was easy to install with the instructions.
