How Many Stools Do You Need?

Please allow 24" of width per stool for comfortable spacing at the bar.
Formula: Bar Length ÷ 24 = Number of Stools

Examples:
∟ Bar is 72 inches → 72 ÷ 24 = 3 stools
∟ Bar is 96 inches → 96 ÷ 24 = 4 stools

What Stool Height Is Best?

Leave 9 to 13 inches between the seat top and your bar underside.
Formula: Bar Height – (10 to 14) = Stool Height

Example:
∟ Bar is 42 inches → Stool should be 28 to 32 inches tall
